Issue Notice:
- In the mid - 16th. century, King Setthathirat relocated the Capital from Luang Prabang to Vientiane and ordered construction of Pra Thatluang in year 1566. It was rebuilt about 4 km from the centre of Vientiane at the end of That Luang and named Pra That Luang, the bases had a length of 69 metres each was 45 metres high, was surrounded by 30 small stupas. Pha That Luang(That Luang Stupa) is a gold - covered large Buddhist stupa in the Centre of Vientiane Capital of Laos, which was the 450th. Anniversary of Pha That Luang Stupa (1566-2016) It is generally regarded as the most important national monument in Laos and national Symbol.
