Issue Notice:
- The 10 Baht issue of 15 Dec. 1997 (AG-0036) was revalued to 15 Baht by overprinting in black the new value with two round dots blotting out the old values. The overprint was accomplished by personnel from Philatelic Dicision, CAT., using the First Day Cover canceling machine which allows very exact placement of the overprint. There was no added notice of this issue. The first notice of it´s existence was seen in the March 1998 issue of the Philatelic Magazine which gave a issue date of 16 Feb 1998. The first items found for sale were at Phra Khanong post office on 20 March 1998. The GPO was still selling old Aerograms with 5 Baht stamp attached on 28 March 98. It was finally able to purchase these aerograms at the regular postal window at the GPO on 1st April 1998.
- The 9th definitive design of King Rama IX showing the King in the uniform of the Royal Navy is used for this stamp design.
- The Word "AEROGRAM" in the upper left uses a thinner font. There is a picture of Phu Phra Bat Historical Park, Udon Thani on the reverse.
