Issue Notice:
- Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was born on Saturday 2 April 1955 at Amphorn Satharn Mansion, Dusit Palace. She is known at court as "The Little Princess". She is the first princess to bear the title "Her Royal Highness" of the Chakri dynasty.
She has talents in various fields, especially in art and traditional Thai music. - Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is interested in all kinds of traditional arts and has great knowledge of Thai arts, history and can play all Thai musical instruments. She is a brilliant poet of Siamese poetry who has authored several poems. She was also given the title of "Supreme Patroness of Thai Cultural Heritage" and "Wisit Silapin" which means she has talents in many artistic fields and has created many excellent works of art.
- In addition, she plays an important role in the areas of education, social development, religion and public health. All of this benefits the Thais directly.
- The commemorative stamp of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Fifth Cycle (60th Birthday) on 2 April 2015 features her portrait taken by Mr. Nitikorn Kraivixien, President of the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand (RPST).
- The Royal Ceremony Crest for the celebrations is also printed on the stamp. The stamp was printed using a lithographic technique with a "purple" hot foil stamping. The color "LILA" stands for Saturday according to the traditional Thai birthday colors.
- In addition, the stamp has AR (Augmented Reality) technology with which, via the mobile application (app) "Experience stamps (stampalive)", a video (2:35 minutes) showing the story of the princess can be viewed.
- A total of 18 mini sheets (16 pieces of 2x2 and 2 pieces of 5x1) were issued on behalf of the Thailand Post. Except for the KB(II), all others were issued at various locations throughout Thailand by the Princess' relevant organizations.
- The sheetlet of five is available in two versions: II = lower left edge of sheet without emblem, III = lower left edge of sheet with green emblem "SIRIVADHANABHAKDI FOUNDATION".
- The sheetlets of 4 IV to XIII differ in the sheet edge.
- Souvenir Sheet 329 I is available with a three- and five-digit number, small sheets KB(I) with a three- and four-digit number.
