For this year, "Chalom", a Thai bamboo basket was the inspiration behind the design of the APEC 2022 logo. The interlocking bamboo stands act as a link between 21 economic zones, which is strong, flexible, cohesive,
and durable to support both the Thai and global economy to be stable, prosperous and sustainable. - The logo was designed by Mr. Chawanon Wongtrakuljong, an architectural student at Chulalongkorn University.
